The early years and education sector have always needed enthusiastic, willing young talent that can be developed, nurtured and inspired. The answer might be to employ an apprentice, which you can grow organically to deliver your setting’s core values and child-focused ethos.
Apprenticeships provide young people and employees with the opportunity to acquire qualifications through work-based training as opposed to going to university or college. We know that further education such as college or university does not suit everyone, so the opportunity to be able to earn while you learn is a great alternative.
Leap offer a wide range of Apprenticeships in Childcare, Early Years, Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools and Management and Leadership at Level 2, 3, 4 and 5. All of which are designed and delivered through our engagement with the employer and the individual learner. An Apprenticeship provides the learner with an insight into the knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required for the sector in which they work.
Model of Delivery
Leap have been delivering apprenticeships for a number of years and have trained over 300 apprentices and supported over 80 businesses develop their employees. We all have a responsibility to apprentices and employees and as such it is imperative to choose a training provider that offers your business and your apprentice the training and development required to deliver best practice. Our aim is to ensure the apprentice is equipped to enter the workforce.
By working in partnership with Leap, we will ensure real engagement with both the employer and learner/apprentice to maximise opportunities for learning. We have a real desire to ensure apprentices and all our learners achieve their full potential, and we do this through direct and on line support with our dedicated training and specialist delivery team. We generally encourage our apprentices to embrace learning in a blended format which usually involves using online resources, attending workshops, meeting with their training coach and engaging in workplace training. Delivery of any apprenticeship will commence with the development of a trusting partnership whereby we really understand what your business needs, whilst ensuring we deliver high quality training that has a lasting impact on the learner and the sector as a whole.
